Ilia Zalivako is a leading researcher in a Precision quantum metrology group of Russian Quantum Center and P. N. Lebedev physical institute of RAS. His PhD degree he defended in the Lebedev institute. He specializes ultracold trapped ions spectroscopy, ultrastable laser systems and their applications. He made a significant contribution to the development of the first transportable optical clock in Russia as well as to the first Russian ion-based quantum computer. His research includes non-adiabatic entangling gates in ion strings, usage of multi-level quantum systems for computations (qudits), methods of dynamical decoupling of the qudits from the environment and scaling of the ion quantum computers.
